Make sure everyone you are speaking to can clearly see your face.
Go somewhere without music / noise in the background and turn off noisy devices.
Be patient and repeat information when they ask you to.
You can't turn hearing devices up or down easily.
Say the person's name before speaking to them.
Stay close to them, within the same room while speaking.
Don't exaggerate your mouth movements while speaking.
Don't speak too quickly and speak clearly.
Don't cover your mouth or eat while speaking.
